Perpetuini gets a (non league) club

GeeWhizz, Perpetuini is on trial with a Conference Club. Is there something we don't know about Stevenage?

He turned down a deal with Walsall to seek employment elsewhere. Little did he know it would be two divisions below the Club he turned down. 

The Saddlers rescued him from (League Two) Wycombe Reserves, his arrival coincided with some good, solid defensive performance and an upturn in form. 

Then, on the eve of our final game he decided enough was enough and he wasn't going to staying. This summer has seen Merse sign Jon Harkness, Danny Fox and Lee Vaughan - all of who can operate at left back.  

It is somewhat of a shock to see him on trial with a Conference Club. From what we saw of him he looked more than capable of holding his own League One.
