1 year extension for hero

Former Walsall hero James Walker has been given some good news. He's signing a 1 year extension to his West Ham contract.

It all looked so gloomy for Jim when he got carried off in last seasons Play-Off Final. He's Still on the long road to recovery, but the news of this extension is sure to give him the incentive to push on and challenge Roy Carroll for the number 1 jersey.

There's no set date for his return, but he isn't expected to return to action until the new year.

From a Saddlers perspective it would be great to see him play just 1 minute of Premiership Football. We could then say he reached the level we all thought he could.
