Midfielder Signs for Saddlers

The Saddlers have signed 26 year old Midfielder Kevin James from Notts Forest on loan until the end of the season.

^{He left Charlton for Canvey Island but soon moved on to Gillingham where he was used as a bit part utility player while they were in the Championship. This is reflected by the fact that 33 of his 57 appearances were as a Sub.  He moved on to Forest in 2004, but has again found game time hard to come by. The last of his 8 appearances came against Woking in this seasons LDV Vans Trophy.} 

^{Forest have already loaned him out once. He spent 8 games with Boston United last season.} 

^{Saddlers.co.uk describes him as a Right Winger, but as his time at  Gillingham suggests, James is a utility player who can be deployed in a number of different roles.}

The Gills offered him a new two year deal back in 2004 but according to their Rivals site, him and his agent were chasing "silly money" which saw his time at the Preistfield come to an end.
