CIS Cup semi dates confirmed

The dates for the Scottish League Cup semi finals were announced today.

Both games will take place at Hampden, with the first game taking place on Saturday 29th January between Celtic and Aberdeen with a 3pm kick off.

The following day will see Motherwell take on holders Rangers also with a 3pm kick off with the game being shown live on BBC Scotland.

While it is commendable both have been switched to a weekend to heighten the occassion, it will be interesting to see how the live TV coverage affects the crowd for the Sunday game.
