Samba weekend in London

The Sunday Mail are reporting this morning that Scotland could have landed a glamour friendly with Brazil on March 27th in London.

Scotland have no European Championship qualifiers and had been considering playing in the Far East or the Middle East, or even heading to Spain for a training camp.

 

But the lure of an offer to play Brazil at Arsenal’s Emirates Stadium on Sunday 27th March could lead to a scramble for tickets for Scotland fans.

 

This could well be the long term way of replacing the Wembley Weekend trip that used to be the highlight of the year for many Scots. We could arrange a fixture against a country from Africa or South America every year in London!!

 

There are still a few financial details to be sorted out but I am sure Scots fans would be gutted if the SFA couldn’t make this happen.
