Celtic back on form

Celtic got back to winning ways in the League thanks to a 2-0 win at home to Hamilton who now look doomed at the other end of the table.

After last week’s defeat at Fir Park Celtic bounced back with a 2-0 win home win over Hamilton. Goals either side of half time from Kris Commons sealed the win and moved Celtic eight points clear of Rangers, ahead of the Champions trip to Paisley tomorrow.

Also looking out for that result will be Hamilton who are still seven points behind St Mirren having played a game more than the Buddies.

The race for the top six took some strange twists today, Kilmarnock almost sealed their place with an excellent 2-0 win at Tynecastle, despite the sending off of Eremenko.

Up in the Highlands Inverness kept themselves in the mix with an emphatic three nil win over rivals Motherwell, with former Well man Richie Foran scoring the second.

Also picking up a point a piece were St. Johnstone and Hibs who drew 1-1 at Perth, this means the last two top six places are still wide open. Anybody from Motherwell down to Aberdeen in second bottom can make it.

The next few weeks will have a number of twists and turns before we see who makes the top six.
