Things back to normal after International break
Bartley injured

It doesn’t take long but the news now is a Rangers player out injured, Old Firm linked with lower club’s player….
Rangers on loan Arsenal defender Kyle Bartley looks as though he will be out for a month after a hernia operation.
This must give Rangers fans a real dose of the worries with Bartley having to return to Arsenal with a knee injury during his first loan spell last season.
After pushing the boat out to get him back could the move backfire and the player spends more time on the treatment table rather than on the bench.
This is just what Rangers need given the financial predicament they seem to be in at the moment.
Now the papers have no International football to distract them it is time to link a provincial club’s young player. This time it is young Scott Allan of Dundee United who has just broken into the United side, playing three times this season.
He also starred for Scotland Under 21 side on Monday, enough to have linked with either Rangers or Celtic, particularly as he is in the last year of his contract.
Of course United have said the links are “absolute nonsense” and they hope he will sign a new contract.
It is good to know a few days away from the domestic scene doesn’t change anything and we quickly get back to normal….
