Former Dons boss Mark McGhee has had a major rant in the press about his time at Aberdeen, it makes for interesting reading.
His thoughts have been captured in both The Sunday Herald and the Scottish Sun, and he really has a go atAberdeenand how badly they are run without taking any responsibility of his role in his time there.
He compares his time at Motherwell where the people were helpful and falling over themselves to help him, toAberdeenwhere no one would appear to co-operate with him.
At Motherwell the players were happy to train on a Sunday, but atAberdeenthe players told him they don’t train on a Sunday. As the Manager that his responsibility to make it happen and show them the benefit of training on a Sunday.
He also felt Stuart Milne wasn’t approachable in comparison to John Boyle at Motherwell. Again as a manager this is something you have to deal with and change your style to suit this.
This seems typical of McGhee, when things go wrong they never appear to be his fault, but when things go well he is happy to take all the credit. After being out of work for a year it would appear he needs to get his name in the paper and hopefully someone will take him on.
