More transfer window moves.

A few more clubs have signed made changes to their squads in the last couple of days, including Rangers, Celtic, St. Johnstone and Aberdeen.

Over atCelticParktheGlasgowside have brought two players in, Nigerian midfielder Rabiu Ibrahim after being released by PSV Eindhoven and Pole Jaroslaw Fojut from Slask Wroclaw.

The 20 year old Nigerian will join up now, while the Pole will not make his move until his contract runs out in the summer. 

Celtic are also trying to hold off bids fromSouthamptonfrom Gary Hooper, the Saints are meant to have made three bids already, with a view to tripling his wages! Surely that will end up being just too tempting for the striker.

AtPerththe Saints have brought in a couple of players on loan, Lee Croft ofDerby(midfielder) and Jack Compton ofFalkirkwho will play as a striker. This seems a bit strange given the depth of squad they have in these areas.

This could maybe spell the end of a number of fringe players atMcDiarmidPark, with the possibility of Steve Lomas moving on someone like Carl Finnigan or Sam Parkin who have not featured that often this season.

Aberdeen have seen one player heading out and one coming in, with Fulham signing youngster 17 year old Jack Grimmer for £200000, while former Skipper Russell Anderson has returned north.

Many have complained that it won’t be good for Scottish football that Grimmer will move to Fulham’s development squad. You could argue he will get a much better development at Craven Cottage and not be rushed into the first team too early.

Another player leaving the SPL is Davie Weir of Rangers who is looking to return down South to be closer to his family. He is hoping to play on but at 41 it might all be over for the veteran defender.

One transfer that has taken a twist is the potential move of Dougie Imrie fromHamilton. It looked as though Dundee Utd would be his destination but it now looks as though St. Mirren could be his destination after starring against them in the Cup last night.
