Is the newco Rangers beginning to unravel?

Not only are the SPL clubs lining up to reject the transfer of Rangers share to the newco, the players are starting walk away.

Hearts, Hibs, andSt.Johnstone have confirmed they will vote no to the newco being accepted as an SPL club. Motherwell, Kilmarnock andAberdeenare polling their fans to find out what they think, and this will probably lead to three more no votes preventing the newco being accepted into the SPL.

It would therefore appear they will not be in the SPL next season, and the only question is will be what League will they be playing in, if any given the SFA still have to determine what punishment for the non-payment of taxes.

I would also like to reply to Rangers sympathisers who think the fans of provincial clubs who are not accepting Rangers. This is not down to pure hatred of Rangers (although their belief all other clubs need punished for their misdemeanours makes them hard to like), but looking for Rangers to be treated the same as other clubs and not treated as a special case.

There were no accusations of a hatred forGretnaorLivingstonwhen they were relegated to the Third Division for their financial misdemeanours. Maybe Rangers “people” need to look in the mirror and reflect on what they see!

Should we be accusing the Rangers players like Steven Whittaker. Steven Naismith, Sone Aluko etc who have indicated they want to leave as having a hatred for Rangers.

Of course not, they can see what is going on not only with the other SPL sides but also with Charles Green whose business plan appears to be unravelling before our very eyes.

July 4^th is now looking like a significant days in Scottish football history and will have major implications for the future, either for good or bad.
