Hammers duo in contract talks

West Ham have today held contract discussions with Nigel Reo-Coker and Chris Powell. Powell who joined from Charlton Athletic is hoping to secure a one year deal while Reo Coker is set to be offered a contract extension on improved terms.

The Hammers have also confirmed today the appointment of a leading Sports scientist Niall Clark who will take up the position of Head of Technical support. Clark had been with Reading who agreed to release him after a compensation package was agreed.
