Wright Joins Sunderland

Liverpool have sold Defender Stephen Wright to Sunderland for a fee of £3 million.

Wright, only 22 year old joins Peter Reid's men on a 5 year deal after the England Under 21 International had agreed terms and a medical.

Wright Looks set to make his debut for the Black Cats against Blackburn on the first day of the big Premiership Kick-off on Saturday.
