Liverpool Centre Back Stephane Henchoz has travelled with The Reds to Valencia for there Champions League Opener.

Stephane missed the dramatic 3-2 victory over Bolton at the weekend due to a calf-strain picked up in the 2-2 draw with Birmingham at Anfield.

Houllier will decide before the game on the Swiss Internationls Condition to see if he is fit enough to play.

Houllier said: "I can't say whether he will be fit to play, we need to see him in training first, but it is worth taking him and I will give him every chance."
