More team news on tonights massive First Leg Champions League Quarter Final with Bayern Leverkusen at Anfield. Read on........
Steven Gerrard and Emile Heskey are both expected to feature in Liverpool's Champions League quarter-final clash with Bayer Leverkusen at Anfield.
Gerrard has been out of action for over a week after picking up a groin injury.
Heskey limped off in the first half against Charlton with a bruised foot, but has returned to training and should be available to lead the line alongside Michael Owen.
Assistant boss Phil Thompson said: "Both players are back in training and hopefully they will be okay."
Nicolas Anelka misses out as he is ineligible for the Champions League.
Chris Kirkland will not be on the bench as he is still recovering from a head injury received at the club's training ground. His place will be taken by Peggy Arphexad.
Abel Xavier missed the win over Charlton after failing a late fitness test, but could be fit to take his place at the back.
Bayer Leverkusen will be without influential captain Jens Nowotny.
The Germany international misses the clash through suspension.
Coach Klaus Toppmoller is likely to reshuffle his side in order to fill the gap created by Nowotny's absence.
Midfielders Carsten Ramelow and Michael Ballack could be forced into defensive roles, with Ballack acting as sweeper.
Thomas Brdaric should start in attack alongside Oliver Neuville, while Ulf Kirsten steps down to the bench.
