Liverpool ask for Rovers date to be moved

Liverpool have asked the FA if the meeting with Blackburn Rovers can be moved. The Reds want the game to be played on the same night as the Arsenal and Man U game.

Liverpool are due to face Blackburn on May 5, three days before the clash between United and Arsenal.

The Reds want the game to be now moved to the same night (May 8) as the Arsenal and Man U game at Old Trafford.

Liverpool are concerned their championship rivals Man U and Arsenal will play their potentially decisive encounter, already knowing how Liverpool have performed in their penultimate match of the season.

The Premier League are set to make a descision on this matter soon.
