Houllier Ends Interest In Kanoute

West Ham Manager Glenn Roeder has told Liverpool Boss Gerard Houllier that Fredi Kanoute is not for sale at any price.

Liverpool have been linked with the Frenchman Kanoute several times but nothing has come out of speculation.

Hammers Boss Roeder Called Houllier after the latest News linking his French star again with a move to Anfield.

Roeder told the club's website: ''Gerard did ask me if he was for sale, and I said 'Absolutely not', to which he replied: 'Okay, that is the end of it'.

"When the first speculation started last week I got in contact with Gerard Houllier by phone and he said: 'Glenn, if Liverpool signed every player we were linked with we would have a huge squad'.''
