Deal Will Go Through Monday Says Ridsdale

Leeds United Midfielder Lee Bowyer's move to Liverpool will go through Monday according to Elland Road Chairman Peter Ridsdale.

Liverpool and Leeds had both agreed a £9 million fee for the England man but Bowyers personal terms had not been so easy to agree.

Bowyer was reportedly wanting more than Liverpool's offer of £35,000 a week and in dispute with Leeds about the payment of his two trialsthat mount up to a £1million legal bill .

The England International did not fly out to France with the Liverpool squad. Leeds United Chairman Peter Ridsdale says the deal will go through on Monday.

He said: "I'm hoping it's going to be completed over the weekend with a view to signing on Monday.

"As far as we're concerned the deal is done between the two clubs.

"We've given him a passport out of Leeds and wished him well."

If the deal does go through on Monday Bowyer will join up with his Liverpool team mates in there training camp in Switzerland.
