Owen To Face Arsenal

Reds Boss Gerard Houllier says that Michael Owen will be fit for the Charity Shield match with Arsenal next weekend in Cardiff.

Owen, who was absent from the impressive win over Italian Giants AC Milan last night will not miss the game with The Gunnars says the Liverpool Boss , He said: "Michael showed he will be okay for next week.

"His training session on Saturday showed us he could do everything. I could have put him on the bench last night, but I thought 'what's the point?"'

Owen looks set to start up front in the game with Emile Heskey against The Gunnars.
