Horacio Jauregui, the agent of Villa star Nobby Solano, has confirmed that he has held talks with a Spanish club regarding the future of the Peruvian winger.

Although Jauregui wouldn't name the team involved, reports in Spain have suggested that the unnamed club is Atletico Madrid.
The good news for Aston Villa however is that Solano looks set to honour his contract with the club and will therefore remain with Villa until next summer.
Speaking to journalists on his return to the country, Horacio Jauregui explained: "I have just come from Madrid and a big club is interested in Nolberto. I cannot say the name of the club because we are in formal talks. This will be his last season at Aston Villa and there are several interested clubs."

Nolberto Solano joined Aston Villa from Newcastle in January 2004 in a £1.5m deal and he has proved to be one of David O'Leary's best signings. His performances for the club have been outstanding and he has been a huge hit with the fans so if he does decide to leave Villa at the end of the season, it will be a massive blow to O'Leary and his team.
