Aston Villa have been handed a major boost with the news that Milan Baros should be fit to start against Middlesbrough on Sunday.

The Czech international missed last Saturday's 2-1 defeat to Chelsea due to an achilles injury which he picked up against Wycombe in the Carling Cup but O'Leary is hopeful that he will be fit enough to lead the front line in Sunday's match.

Speaking to Villa's official site, O'Leary said, "He's getting there and we're very hopeful that he will be fit to play on Sunday. That would be a real boost for us.

"I think he's got a real good chance, but we'll delay our decision until tomorrow."
