David O'Leary has been given a double fitness boost ahead of Saturday's third round FA Cup match against Hull with the news that both Thomas Sorensen and Wilfred Bouma should be fit.

Goalkeeper Sorensen missed Monday's derby win over West Brom after picking up a flu virus and Wilfred Bouma has missed the last two matches with a knee injury. However, both players should be fit for Saturday's televised trip to the KC Stadium.

Physio Stuart Walker said, "The injured players are responding well. They've been in for treatment through the week but we'll know more whether they're available in the next 24 hours."

Manager David O'Leary added, "Bouma's injury is not nasty - it's not two or three weeks."
