Aston Villa goalkeeper Thomas Sorensen has spoken of his delight at his peformance at White Harte Lane and labelled it 'one of my best.'

The Danish international goalkeeper made five world-class saves in the match as his heroics earned Villa a goalless draw against fourth placed Spurs.

Sorensen reflected, "There have been some good performances in the past, but the Spurs one is among my best.

"My display at Newcastle a couple of years ago when I saved a penalty is also one I look back on.

"But it's always a pleasure to keep a clean sheet and that adds more to the joy than just having a great game.

The Villa stopper, however, refused to take all the credit for the point against Martin Jol's side.

"The back five did tremendously well," he continued. "There were great performances in front of me and obviously I made some critical saves as well."
