Aston Villa striker Juan Pablo Angel has insisted that he is happy at Villa Park and that he would like to see out the remainder of his career with the Villans.
The Columbian international, Villa's £9.5m record signing, has failed to cement a place in David O'Leary's starting eleven this season. With the signings of Kevin Phillips and Milan Baros, as well as Luke Moore's sudden rise to stardom, Angel has found his opportunities limited.
However, the striker, who hit 23 goals in the 03/04 season, has not been disheartened by his lack of starts this season and has vowed to stay at Villa beyond his current contract which doesn't expire until summer 2008.
"I would like to end my career in this team where I am treated well," Angel said.
"I am very happy where I am. Even when things have not gone well, the fans have stayed with me. My family has totally adapted to this country too."
