Meite Completes Wanderers Transfer

Olympique Marseille defender Abdoulaye Meite has finally become a Bolton Wanderers player after putting pen to paper on a four year contract.

The 25-year old put the finishing touches to the deal earlier on today leaving Wanderers manager Sam Allardyce absolutely delighted at landing a player whom he has been tracking for over two years.

Meite has recently been representing the Ivory Coast at this summers World Cup and his decision to join the Wanderers for such a long tenure represents a positive step forward.

Allardyce told the official website that his new addition should have no problems adapting to pace of the Premier League after spending over six years at the top level with Marseille.

"He has all the qualities you'd expect from an international footballer who also played for one of France's top teams. He's young and should adapt to the intensities of the Premier League rather quickly."

Walking Down The Manny Road would like to welcome Abdoulaye to Bolton Wanderers.
