Borgetti Interest Hots Up

Jared Borgetti may have been told that his future lies away from Bolton Wanderers but the amount of interest in the Mexican is already gathering pace.

French club Nancy have rejected the chance to sign the World Cup forward but Racing Santander of Spain and Portugal's FC Porto are already beleived to be pondering a bid for the 33-year old.

Borgetti looked all set to join Saudi club Al-Ittihad earlier this week after suffering mixed fortunes during his time in England but the move fell through after discussions where held.

The "Desert Fox" did play a part during the Wanderers 3-0 defeat against Sevilla last night and had a couple of good chances but ultimately the writing appears to be on the wall for a man who has the 14th best ever scoring ratio in the world.
