Allardyce Junior Regrets Agent Reports

Craig Allardyce is still haunted by the fabricated media reports which looked into his involvement with Bolton Wanderers as a football agent.

The 31-year old was unneccesarily thrust into the limelight by the national newspapers a few months ago as they claimed that he had allegedly acted improperly when dealing with the club whom his father Sam manages.

Allardyce Jnr. was able to provide cast iron evidence and legitimate paperwork for all of his dealings but he says that the unrest did not help his father's prospects of getting the England job.

"It worries me that I might have cost Dad his dream job. Every deal I did was above board and we have documentary evidence to prove it. I'm clean. But there were snide remarks and back-biting about the fact I was an agent and did some stuff with Bolton. So I can't help but think what might have been." said a regretful Allardyce to The Sun

"I've nothing to hide from the Premiership inquiry going on into transfers at the moment. That has nothing to do with it. Dad had been telling me to get out of the game for 18 months - long before it was known Eriksson was going - but I wouldn't listen. Now I have, But it's too late to get him the England job."

Bolton-born Craig is a former defender himself as he sporadically played league football with Preston North End, Blackpool, Peterborough United, Mansfield Town and Chesterfield between 1993 and 2000.
