Ex-Wanderer Farrelly Sacked

Gareth Farrelly has been sacked as the player/manager of Eircom league side Bohemians following a recent 2-0 defeat against arch rivals Shamrock Rovers.

The former Wanderers midfielder took on his first managerial role after leaving Wigan Athletic at the end of the 2003-2004 season but recent results have been deemed unacceptable by the Bohs board of directors who have now terminated his employment with immediate effect.
