Campo Wins Player Of The Month Award

Ivan Campo has been named as the Walking Down The Manny Road player of the month for August after excelling in the Wanderers opening three games of the new season.

The Spaniard has been in excellent form over the last few weeks and readers of this website have been unanimous about who they think is the best player so far as the former Real Madrid man netted half of the votes in our recent poll.

Kevin Davies and Gary Speed came in joint second place whilst new boy Quinton Fortune was in third place.
