Tristan Wants English Move

Former Deportivo La Coruna striker Diego Tristan is hoping to make the move to England after all following his release from the Spanish club.

The 30-year old is expected to make a post-deadline move to these shores after seeing his time with Deportivo come to an end prior to last weeks European transfer deadline.

Tristan has confirmed that he would like to speak to the Wanderers about a possible move and Trotters boss Sam Allardyce is also beleived to be considering bringing the powerful Spaniard to the Reebok.

This comes just weeks after the player rejected the prospect of making the same move.

"The door is now closed to me in Spain. I can still move to England and I will consider playing there for 12 months before perhaps a return - now, I only have the desire to play again." said Tristan recently

"I have several offers from England and now I am studying the option to play in the Premier League this season. Also, I have received options from other European clubs, but they are not so attractive. The coach of Bolton has a lot of confidence in me and I want to speak with them."

Meanwhile Allardyce has confirmed that Matt Jansen could earn a contract with the club if he shows the form that once made him one of England's most promising young strikers. The former Blackburn Rovers favourite is back at the Reebok Stadium for training as he goes in search of getting himself a new club.
