Jaaskelainen Wins Our Player Of The Month Award

Bolton Wanderers goalkeeper Jussi Jaaskelainen has been voted as the Walking Down The Manny Road player of the month for the second month in succession.

The Finnish international has been excellent so far this season and his two penalty saves in the recent win over local rivals Blackburn Rovers went a long way to gaining Bolton three valuable points.

Striker El-Hadji Diouf finished as the runner up whilst veteran Gary Speed continued to impress beyond his advancing years as our readers voted for him in third place.
