Skipper To Miss Blades Test?

Kevin Nolan could miss Saturday's game with Sheffield United after all as his fiancee Hayley is expecting their first child any day now.

The Wanderers skipper has just completed a three match suspension and is in line to play at Bramall Lane but things could all change dramatically if the child is born prior to the match.

If that is the case then Nolan has been given special dispensation by manager Sam Allardyce to see the birth of his first born and will therefore miss the meeting with the Blades.

The likeable Scouser told the clubs official website that he has plans in place should the two events clash.

"I've got my car parked in Sheffield so if I get the call I'll be straight over to see our baby born, It's something that I am really looking forward to and I don't really want to miss with the baby being my first. I've been very excited about it for a few weeks but hopefully it won't happen at 3:00pm on Saturday.

"If it does come to it, the gaffer and I have decided that I will miss the game."

Walking Down The Manny Road would like to wish Kevin and Hayley all the best with their new arrival
