Wanderers In Double Transfer Link

Lillestrom striker Michael Mifsud and Lokomotiv Moscow hardman Laryea Kingston have been linked with New Year moves to Bolton Wanderers.

Maltese-born Mifsud has rejected a new contract to stay with his club and now seems likely to move on in the near future with Wanderers, Reading, Sheffield United, Norwich City and Crystal Palace all said to have been monitoring his recent progress.

Rated as one of the best foreign players in Norwegian football, Mifsud said the improved contract offer from Lillestrom is still some way short of what he was expecting.

"This offer was better than the last one, and they gave me ten days to consider it, but there's not really much to think about,"

Ghananian midfielder Kingston on the other hand will be in action for his country against Australia at Queens Park Rangers Loftus Road ground and Bolton are allegedly set to send one of their scouts down to watch the game.
