Sam Ready For January Spree

Sam Allardyce is set to splash out in the January transfer window in order to keep his Bolton side in and amongst the sides chasing for European football.

Allardyce is wary that his current crop of players will suffer from fatigue as the season moves on and he says that squad strengthening is a necessity for the second half of the campaign.

The Wanderers chief has also promised his troops another post Christmas trip to the sun soaked country of Dubai to enable them to recharge their batteries and become refreshed.

"By the time January comes round, there will be an awful lot of tired players at this football club who I will have to regenerate, one way or another, And bringing in a new player is one of the perfect ways to do that." Allardyce told the Bolton News yesterday

"The other is getting off to Dubai as soon as we possibly can, to get the players in the sun and on to the beach and making sure they get the opportunity to recharge their batteries."

Former Paris Saint Germain midfielder Vikash Dhorasoo is once again rumoured to be high on the Trotters shopping list, as is Plymouth Argyle's £1.2 million rated Hungarian star Akos Buzsaky but Allardyce refuses to be drawn into the specifics of who he has targeted.
