Ilic Claims Bolton Move Imminent

Slovenian international right back Branko Ilic could be on his way to Bolton Wanderers in the January transfer window after impressing in a recent trial spell at the Reebok Stadium.

The 23-year old currently plays for NK Domzale in his homeland but is available for a small fee due to him being in the last year of his contract and Wanderers could be about to make a move provided that terms can be agreed.

Ilic watched the recent Bolton game against Chelsea and also starred in a reserve team game last month.

"I was in England for three days and had some medical tests. I trained with the first team and played a game for the reserves. I also met Sam Allardyce and watched the Chelsea game. I'm thrilled and I hope this transfer will go through.It would be a dream come true for me. I hope everything works out well." said Ilic to the Slovenian media
