Academy Take On Wednesday In Youth Cup

Bolton Wanderers youth academy will earn themselves a trip to Sunderland in the next round of the FA Youth Cup if they can overcome Sheffield Wednesday at Hillsborough tonight

A strong squad is named for the trip to South Yorkshire as no fewer than seven of the travelling Wanderers party have earned themselves recognition at international level.

Last season Bolton crashed out of this competition at the fifth round stage after losing 1-0 to Southampton.

Bolton Wanderers will pick from: Robert Lainton, Matthew Cassidy, Chris Stokes, Mark Ellis, Scott Jamieson, Leslie Thompson, Robert Sissons, Sam Sheridan, Kevin Wolze, Nathan Wolfe, Michael Roddy, Tom Brocklehurst, David Gbermie, Tom Brooks and Temitope Obadeyi.
