Bolton In Belgian Link Up - Report

Top Belgian club Lierse are keen to take a number of Bolton Wanderers players on loan for the second part of the season according to reports emerging today.

Players on the fringes of the Wanderers first team could move to the continent to play at Lierse in a similar arrangement which mirrors that of Manchester United's partnership with Royal Antwerp.

The potential arrangement could be beneficial to both teams as it will give the young Bolton players much needed experience and in turn help Lierse strenghten their squad at a crucial time of the season.

As yet neither club have made comment on the arrangement but if successful then Lierse will become the fourth club to liase with Bolton over the last three years following on from the Wanderers arrangements with Northern Irish club Ballymena United, Wuhan of China and Spain's Elche C.F.
