Gardner Hopeful Of Champions League Place

Jamaican star Ricardo Gardner beleives that Bolton have what it takes to qualify for a Champions League place at the end of the season.

The 28-year old has been at the Reebok Stadium since he was a teenager and therefore knows more than most about the club and he says a top four finish is not beyond the Wanderers capabilities.

"We think we can go all the way and get a Champions League place, We believe in each other and, if we can dig in right to the end of the season and keep performing week in, week out, that's not impossible. That's what we are working for and we believe we can get that Champions League spot." Gardner told the official website

Over Christmas, the Trotters recorded a remarkable five straight wins which earned manager Sam Allardyce the Barclays Manager of the Month award and kept the club in touch with the likes of Arsenal and Liverpool.
