Fadiga In Watford Trial

Former Wanderers midfielder Khalilou Fadiga could be on his way back to the Premiership after being handed a trial with struggling Watford.

The Senegal international left Bolton at the end of last season after failing to secure a regular first team place and he is hopeful of making a favourable impression on the Watford manager Aidy Boothroyd.

Fadiga, who has also spent time training with Portsmouth and Sheffield United since leaving the Reebok Stadium, successfully recovered from a career-threatening defect heartbeat in 2004 and went on to make over 25 appearances in Bolton colours.
