Reserves Take On Rovers

Wanderers reserves hope to come back from their recent mauling against Manchester City as they take on Blackburn Rovers at the County Ground later this evening.

The Bolton second string went down 4-1 a week ago in the Manchester Senior Cup so Jimmy Phillips will hope his side can put that to the back of their minds for the visit of Rovers.

Blackburn themselves began the year with a 2-1 defeat against City so they too will want to put in a good performance against a Bolton side who they defeated 1-0 back in September.

Visitors boss Glyn Hodges is able to call on the experience of Jason Roberts, Francis Jeffers and Ryan Nelsen, with all three making a comeback from recent long term injuries.
