Nolan Set To Sign Fresh Deal

Bolton Wanderers captain Kevin Nolan is set to sign a new contract with the club which will keep him at the Reebok Stadium for a further four years.

The 24-year old has been touted for a possible move elsewhere in recent times in a bid to enhance his international prospects with England, but the Liverpool born midfielder just wants to stay with the club who gave him his big break seven years ago.

Speaking to the clubs official website, Nolan is delighted to commit his future to the club and says that he is looking forward to helping the team make further progression.

"It's virtually agreed (the new contract) and will all be done very soon. After this season, I'll be here for another four years and I'm absolutely delighted with that."

"Ever since I've been at Bolton, I've never thought that I would have to leave to get international recognition. Even though we are not a big city club, we have done fantastically well over the last four or five years. We are continuing to grow and getting better and better and I am glad that I will be a part of it."
