Strong Moves To The Shay

Greg Strong has moved back to English football after a mystery financier funded his move to Nationwide Conference side Halifax Town.

The former Wanderers defender has been without a club since leaving Scottish side Dundee at the end of last year but now Town boss Chris Wilder has been able to take him to The Shay for the rest of the season.

It comes as a timely boost for Halifax who have recently seen a number of their defenders struck down with injury.
