Leeds Want To Keep Lubo

Championship strugglers Leeds United are hoping to extend the loan spell of Bolton Wanderers defender Lubomir Michalik for another month.

The 23-year old has impressed during his initial one month stint with the Yorkshire club and Leeds boss Dennis Wise is hoping that the Slovakian international will be allowed to stay at Elland Road for a little while longer.

Michalik has played in four league games for Leeds so far and the Whites have remained undefeated in that time. The only downside of the spell is that the giant centre half has picked up three yellow cards since moving across the Pennines.

United have already agreed a deal with Charlton Athletic today which will see on loan veteran Radostin Kishishev stay and help their bid to beat relegation from the football league's second tier.
