Palace Target Walker Deal?

Championship side Crystal Palace are beleived to be interested in taking Bolton Wanderers reserve keeper Ian Walker back to London.

Former Tottenham Hotspur keeper Walker was signed by Eagles boss Peter Taylor when the duo where at Leicester City and reports claim that they could be reunited once again.

The 35-year old moved north to Bolton nearly two years ago but he has found opportunities limited due to the good form of undisputed number one custodian Jussi Jaaskelainen.

Walker has made appearances in both the FA Cup and League Cup this season but is still to make his Premiership bow for Bolton. He is currently competing with Oman goalkeeper Ali Al-Habsi for a place on the Wanderers substitutes bench and Trotters manager Sam Allardyce has previously stated that he would not be adverse to sending either of his back up keepers out on loan.
