Bolton Linked With Quartet

With the close season just around the corner the Wanderers have already been linked with a number of players ahead of next season's campaign.

Firstly, Real Madrid centre half Paco Pavon is being linked with a Bosman transfer switch to the Reebok Stadium on a contract that could last for four years. Pavon has made over 100 appearances at the Bernabeu since making his debut in 2001.

Lens midfielder Seydou Keita is also being touted for a move to Sam Allardyce's European chasers after the French club confirmed that they would recently let their club captain leave if a suitable offer was submitted.

English-born left back David Murphy has impressed in his three years with Scottish side Hibernian and Wanderers are one of a number of a number of clubs said to be keeping tabs on the one time Middlesbrough youngster.

Also North of the Border, it seems as if Bolton could be early frontrunners to sign Northern Ireland veteran Neil Lennon after he decided to end his seven year spell with Celtic. Lennon was linked to Bolton two years ago but decided to stay at Parkhead.

Of course, the only new signings Bolton have made for next season so far is the captures of FC Zurich midfielder Blerim Dzemaili and Bordeaux centre half Gerald Cid on pre-contracts.
