Nicky Available For Chivas Game

Peace Cup organisers have fined Bolton Wanderers the sum of £500 after defender Nicky Hunt was sent off during yesterday's 1-1 draw with Seongnam Ilhwa in Seoul.

The former England U21 international Hunt was dismissed shortly before the hour for what appeared to be a stamp on Brazilian forward Itamar and after consultation with the match officials the red card will now be annuled.

Hunt will be available for tommorow's game against Mexican side Chivas and the following game against Racing Santander with the £500 fine being donated by the Wanderers to youth projects in Korea.

"We got the call from the organising commitee to say that Nicky's red card had been nullified. We all felt after the game that he was going to miss at least one match. It now means he can play in the rest of the tournament which is important at this stage of pre-season" said Bolton manager Sammy Lee to the clubs official website.

Yesterday was Hunt's first competitive game since the 3-1 defeat against fellow Peace Cup contenders Reading in the Premiership at the end of April.
