Early Return?

Kevin Davies is back in training after a hamstring injury and there is an outside chance that the experienced striker could figure in Saturday's crunch match against Reading at the Reebok Stadium.
Davies was injured in the opening day defeat against Newcastle United two weeks ago and the initial diagnosis was that the former Southampton front man would be missing for over a month.
However, Wanderers manager Sammy Lee has since confirmed that the 30-year old has responded well to treatment and is in with a chance of getting some playing time before the end of the month.
Usually Davies is renound for steering clear of injuries and suspension despite his robust style but the last two seasons have seen him pick up the odd knock or two.
Meanwhile another injured player is attracting the interest of Sheffield United, with Blades manager Bryan Robson keen to take Stelios Giannakopoulos to Bramall Lane on loan before next week's deadline.
