Goals from Ricardo Gardner, Temitope Obadeyi, Matthew Cassidy and Zoltan Harsanyi gave Bolton Wanderers a comfortable 4-0 win against local Unibond League Division One side Radcliffe Borough earlier this afternoon.

The game at Stainton Park took place in front of a crowd of just over four hundred people as the Wanderers honoured their agreement which was originally scheduled for early July.

Bolton named a fairly experienced team with the O'Brien defensive duo of Joey and Andy getting some playing time between them in an attempt to build up their match sharpness.

Hungarian summer signing Adam Bogdan started the game in goal for his first appearance in Bolton colours since making the move from Vasas Budapest just a month or so ago.

Bogdan kept a clean sheet and will be pushing the likes of Ali Al-Habsi, Ian Walker and Przemyslaw Kazimierczak for a regular spot in the reserve team this season.

Gardner, in scoring the opener, netted his first Bolton goal since scoring a stunning strike against Newcastle United on Boxing Day in 2002.
