Move Completed

Bolton Wanderers finally sold their unsettled defender Abdoulaye Faye to Premiership rivals Newcastle United with just minutes of the transfer deadline remaining but that proved to be the only major departure as Sammy Lee managed to keep hold of the likes of Nicolas Anelka, El-Hadji Diouf and Jussi Jaaskelainen.
Faye has been unsettled at Bolton since the start of the season and his only Wanderers appearance of this campaign ironically came against the Magpies on the opening game of the season.
He links up with his former manager Sam Allardyce for an undisclosed fee after two years at the Reebok Stadium in which he made sixty Premiership appearances, scoring three goals.
