Jlloyd Ruled Out For Six Weeks

Bolton Wanderers left back Jlloyd Samuel has been ruled out of action for up to six weeks after being stretchered off in the second half of the Trotters 1-0 defeat against Birmingham City at the weekend.

The 26-year old tore a hamstring when sprinting for the ball and he is likely to be ruled out of contention until at least the start of November.

Signed from Aston Villa in the summer, Samuel has started all of Bolton's games so far this term after Ricardo Gardner injured himself in pre-season.

Ironically, the Jamaican star Gardner is now back to full fitness and he made his first appearance of the season when coming on for Samuel in the game at St Andrews.
