Loaned Out Again

Bolton Wanderers have loaned out their young reserve team striker Johann Smith to League Two side Darlington for a month in a bid to give the pacy attacker some much needed first team match action.

The 20-year old American has failed to feature for the Wanderers at all this term so a move to Dave Penney's promotion hopefuls will come as a welcome boost.

Last season Smith spent the second half of the campaign out on loan to Carlisle United and made 14 appearances during his time at Brunton Park where he became a bit of a crowd favourite.

Smith has appeared twice for a struggling Bolton reserve team but has yet to get on the scoresheet.
